This is me, just writing me.

Light-hearted and fun posts are coming back to SincerelyJFK soon- promise.

Like many of you, I am also getting very sick of the dreariness that has inevitably come with quarantine. It’s almost like there’s been this weight on all of our chests, and I was afraid it’d be tone deaf to write anything silly or cute right now.

But I’m determined to find a way to balance both and do it tastefully.

I’m a firm believer that we can appreciate the magnitude of COVID19 while also adjusting back to a life as normal as we can safely, responsibility, and respectfully live it. We should be able to give our deepest condolences to all of the heartbroken families that are left wondering “why us?”, and honor the front line workers that have shown up for countless hours and made sacrifices we couldn’t even imagine, while at the same time slowly adjusting back into the world that is outside of our own four walls.

If you know your heart is in the right place, shouldn’t you be able to decide when it’s appropriate to laugh again?

And that’s where I am. So, be on the look out for maybe a couple more COVID19-inspired posts but please also know... fun is coming soon (it just might look a little different for the time being).

Because it wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t looking for the silver lining in any and every situation, right?
